What We Do

Frisky’s all, what happens at Love Church anyway?

Nice nose, Frisky. So, we gather on Saturday mornings from 9:00-10:30, and we talk a little, pray a little, and then go off on our own for forty minutes to the woods or the field or the pond, where we walk or sit or nap or whatever we want, and then we come back together for a closing circle.

Frisky’s all, I like the nap part. And the part where I get to eat a frog.

Nobody said anything about eating frogs, Frisky. Anyway, people (and bees, and frogs . . .) can bring their friends.

And Frisky’s all, but what’s the actual point?

Wow, Frisky, that’s quite the intense stare! Okay, so we share hard stuff and lift up joys, and we try to remember that we are never alone. Love’s ever-present presence is with us always. And the quiet time in nature helps us feel connected to that love through the birds and trees and flowers and snow and clouds and crickets and frogs and rocks. We remember that we are nature too, and we relax for a little bit, and know that we are held and loved.

We gather outside all year round, in every season.

Frisky’s all, that does sound kind of nice. Maybe I’ll give it a try.

Again, nice nose! We would love for you to join us, Frisky, and that goes for those of you reading this now. All are welcome. Love Church takes place at our home in Randolph Center, VT. Send us a note on our Contact page and we’ll give you directions.

Until then, remember to appreciate cute little friends

bask in the glory of beautiful mornings

open your eyes to the miracles that surround you

And whatever you do, don’t forget to look up

Blessed be.
